Project Outcome: Humanitarian Fund 2019/2020

Infant Massage USA’s Humanitarian Fund is used for projects associated with emergency or crisis situations, underserved populations or similar social issues.

The 2019/2020 Humanitarian Project focused on providing support to US populations affected by Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS).

The project included 2 donation aspects to promote education and research regarding nurturing touch and the impact of Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome.



Outcome

Infant Massage USA made donations of nurturing touch educational materials to the following medical facilities as well as 200 CEIM Members.

  • Lawrence General Hospital (Lawrence, MA)

  • Emerson Hospital (Concord, MA)

DONATION TO MEDICAL CENTERS

  • A pediatric bolster (the Zaky Hug)

  • Lullaby CD (Ami Tomake CD)

  • Informational booklet on nurturing touch & NAS (PDF version can be downloaded at link above)

  • English and Spanish brochures on Infant Massage USA and list of CEIMs in their area.

DONATION TO 200 CERTIFIED EDUCATORS.
