JOSEPH CHILTON PEARCE

On March 9 & 10, IMUSA Trainer, Suzanne P. Reese had the privilege to meet Joseph Chilton Pearce and attend a lecture and all-day workshop at the Waldorf School of San Diego, CA. Joseph Chilton Pearce is a leader in unfolding the inherent potentials of higher intelligence in children – ‘higher’, meaning healthy emotional intelligence as a bridge between the brain and the heart. Mr. Pearce blends multicultural traditions, science and a plethora of research citations that support his approach to nurturing and preserving the whole child. Suzanne was leading a training the week before. One of the training students, Mimi Hetzel announced that Mr. Pearce would be presenting in San Diego the very next weekend. Suzanne nearly lost her footing – a dream come true, a chance to meet Joseph Chilton Pearce!

Mimi was hosting Mr. Pearce and invited Suzanne to meet Mr. Pearce at her home. While enjoying snacks they chatted about babies, infant massage, brain development and the topic of that weekend’s presentation and workshop: "Awakening the Heart of Intelligence."

Debby Takikawa of "What Babies Want" flew down to film the event and will be producing an edited audio cd of the all-day workshop.

Fellow infant massage gals of San Diego include: Stacey Annand, Christy Wittmer with Dr. Joseph Pearce and Suzanne P. Reese. Not pictured are Leslie Schultz, Marcia Garceau and the woman who made it all happen – Mimi Hetzel. Thanks Mimi!
