Dr. Dominique Charlot-swilley
Dr. Dominique Charlot-Swilley is a trained clinical child psychologist and a licensed school psychologist with over 20 years of experience working with young children and their parents in Head Start, Early Head Start, and in private practice. She has served as a faculty member at Johns Hopkins University and as adjunct professor at Howard University, George Washington University, and Montgomery College, Takoma Park.
Dominique has extensive knowledge of the conceptualization, development, evaluation and implementation of programs, including community-based prevention, gender-specific adolescent programs, and early intervention and crisis intervention projects. She has conducted research evaluations for public and private institutions.
Dominique currently co-leads the design, implementation, and evaluation of a community-based pediatric primary care program at Children’s National Medical Center-Anacostia. Additionally, she trains and supervises staff on the Georgetown Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation model and works collaboratively with community stakeholders and supervises doctoral students.
