Stephanie Michel

Stephanie is a New Jersey native who has dedicated her life to serving others. She started her career as a nursing assistant and became a Certified Child Life Specialist, helping children and families cope with difficult hospitalizations and diagnoses. After working at the bedside, Stephanie became the Director of Patient Experience, broadening her impact across all areas of the hospital.
Stephanie has a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Woman’s University and a Master of Science in Human Development and Early Childhood Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas. In addition to being a Child Life Specialist, she is also an Educator of Infant Massage and Child Passenger Safety Technician. In 2017, Stephanie was awarded Medical City Healthcare’s Extreme Caregiver Award, in recognition for her work with children and families during Hurricane Harvey Relief. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys working out, volunteering in the community, and spending time with her family.
